REGION RUNNER-UP TEAM!!!!! LADY GREYHOUNDS!!!!!

Congratulations to the boys and girls teams on a great showing at the Region Championships!!!! The boys were led by Josef who finished 10th OVERALL!!!! Jacob, Josh and Axel also ran well and all PR'ed for the Greyhounds!!!!

The girls were led by Ashley (7th overall) Brittany, Heather, Darden and Hope who led the team to a REGION RUNNER position and spot at the STATE meet next Saturday!!! Congrats to all the athletes and parents on a fantastic season!!!!

Sharptop Invitational - Jasper GA

Congratulations to the boys and girls XC teams who both were the TEAM RUNNER-UP at the Sharptop Invitational. The Varsity boys were led by Josef and Jacob while the girls were let by Ashley and Heather. The JV teams also had a great day with numerous athletes running season best races. The JV girls were led by Rylie and Catherine and the JV boys were led by Joel and Conner. Great work GREYHOUNDS......Let's get focused for REGION!

GULF COAST STAMPEDE!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the boys team who were lead by Josef, Jacob and Pieter to a 5th place finish!!! The girls were led by Ashley and Brittany to a 13th place finish in the girls Varsity race. Thanks for a GREAT team trip PHS XC athletes!!!! 

Ridge Ferry Invitational Results

Congratulations to all the XC athletes for their OUTSTANDING performance at the Ridge Ferry Invitational.  

The Varsity boys WON the team championship behind the PR race of Josef Schuster.  

The Varsity girls WON the team title and were led by Ashley Kehoe who WON the Varsity girls race.

JV also dominated as the JV girls put all 5 runners in the top 6 overall, with Kara winning the race, and the boys put all 5 finishers in the top 12!! GREAT things are still to come POPE XC!

DOUBLE-DIP Results

The Double Dip Classic provides a quality challenge for the Greyhounds as some of the best teams in the Southeast compete. The Varsity boys finish 5th behind Jacob and Josef and the girls finish 8th led by Heather and Hope. The freshman race was extremely exciting with Conor finishing 2nd overall with Orion and Will close behind leading the boys team to a 2nd place finish . The 1st year runner race for girls was led by Peyton and Hannah Rose who both placed in the top 10 overall leading the girls to a team WIN!!! Congrats Greyhounds on a great day!!

Pope has a great day at the Bob Blastow Early Bird!!! 

The girls take 3rd place in a tight fought varsity battle!!!!

The boys also run well with the top 8 all finishing under 18:00 and placing 5th overall.

Pope kicks off the 2015 season in style at the Sandy Creek Classic. http://ga.milesplit.com/meets/207756-sandy-creek-xc-kick-off 

The varsity boys started the XC with a strong showing at the Sandy Creek Invitational. Led by Jacob who finished 6th overall and Josef who was 9th as the boys finished fourth overall. Rounding out the top 5 for the Varsity Hounds were William , 11th, Josh , 22nd and Jacob, 30th. The JV boys also showed promise as Pieter duToit won the race and was followed closely by Walt Ramsay in 6th, In the Open division David, Jan and Javy looked strong and led as the Hounds took 8 of the top 11 positions. Congrats boys on a great start to the 2015 season!

The Girls team showed their depth as they WON all divisions at the Sandy Creek Kick off Classic. Brittany, Ashley, Heather and Hope all finished in the 10 overall with Darden not far behind in 13th. The JV was led by Peyton, who finsihed 3rd overall with a supporiting cast of Kaitlyn, Dyan and Catherine The Open division saw all 5 scorers finsih in the top 10 with Hannah, Maggie and Natalie leading the way for Pope. Congrats ladies on a GREAT day!!!
